It's been three years since Jords last full length album but today, he's returned with his highly anticipated project, Dirt In The Diamond. When an artist makes the substance their calling card, it can result in long gaps between projects. But considering the depth we get as early as album opener "Ancestors", which is anchored in tradition and lineage, it's clear that there was no rushing the process of making this project.

The project features the likes of Cashh, Masego, Kranium, Wretch 32, Lil Sykes, Tay Iwar, Bea Anderson, Thea Gajic, Tamaraebi, and Miles From Kinshasa. It's a varied collection of collaborators and the sonic range of the project is evident—it swings from drill to dancehall, infuses gospel and straight-up rap, all while managing to remain cohesive thanks to producers such as Z Dot, Toddla T, Nosa Apollo, Mr Again, Mike Brainchild, Kadiata, to name a few.
