Following a trio of releases this year, upcoming Irish artist Jono.J returns to give some timely visuals to "Winter Thoughts", his 2019 debut created with West London producer and vocalist RowBlack.

Sitting on a bed of subtle 808s and rolling drum patterns, "Winter Thoughts" blends trap elements with R&B and soul to create a subdued yet head-bopping groove that taps into the feeling of being left out in the cold. Jono opens with a chilled flow, as if resigned to accepting a situation of unrequited love, before RowBlack closes the track with melancholic, Auto-Tuned rhymes as he tries to figure out where he went wrong.

Directed by FRIO FILMS, the muted visuals are purposefully devoid of colour, pushing the track's wintry theme to the fore as the pair try to catch the attention of an indifferent love interest. Press play below.
