Joe James has arrived with another round of introspective reflections on his new project, Pure Connery, landing only a few short weeks after the potent Bruce EP.

The new EP picks up a few of the threads of the previous project, which was flooded with stories of past friendships and musings on life, and continues them with even more playful wordplay.

The production is minimal in most places, which he decorates with his mellow rap cadences and lyrical adeptness. While there are no skippable moments across the six-track EP, some highlight moments include "London Tipton" and the orchestral-driven opener "Bit Of Taste".
