Jim Legxacy has returned with a fresh gem, "idk idk".

One of the leaders of a generation of DIY artists filling dancefloors and breaking hearts with tracks made in their bedrooms, Legxacy's music has always been set apart. Energising but often shot through with sadness, much of his music draws inspiration from some of the hardest moments in his life.

"idk idk" is no exception, returning to the unimaginable tragedy of losing his sibling two years ago. While the video that dropped alongside is undeniably infectious and filled with energy in its typically scrapbook style, it's hard to ignore devastating lines like, "Nearly two years since I lost you, wanna cry," as he learns to navigate this stage of grief and forgive himself in the process.

This is Jim Legxacy's first major solo release since his first XL Recordings project, black british music landed last year.
