Jim Legxacy's latest offering "Candy Reign" makes for the perfect summertime treat using pieces of Soul For Real's '90s hit "Candy Rain".

Cosy acoustic guitar strums introduce the track before making space for the gentle swing of some Afro-inspired drum patterns to enliven the forward-thinking production. Jim's vocals are delicate, spewing with romantic tales fit for warm summer evenings. We've seen a spike in artists meshing those throwback sounds with their new age influences, but not many hit the mark the way "Candy Reign" does.

Jim calls on director Fidel for the heartwarming visuals shot around Catford and features a number of eager friends kicking back to the track. "Candy Reign" has a similar nostalgic and romantic feel to his previous cut "Eye Tell (!)", which is definitely worth a listen, but only after you hit play below.
