JGrrey continues to expand her sound, this time venturing into classic soul/neo-soul territory for her new single, "Take My Hand", which features neo-soul riser Bel Cobain.

Produced with Harry Jowett and Harry Beech, the new single is built on a swirl of classic soul, neo-soul and even jazz influences. Filtered through a lo-fi crackle, it's an effective cool-down for warm summer nights.

The new song is all about finding that effortless connection and the freedom to be vulnerable with someone. It's intimate and warming from the out, even a little intoxicating.

Sharing her own thoughts on the single, JGrrey says: "Growing up in care, and starting my life without a family I became aware of people's different perspectives, I've always been in awe of what other kids had, their families, siblings, their start in life. Sometimes I meet someone new, I like them and I can come off quite intense, I want to know where they come from, if they know their birth father, what school did they go to? How many times have they moved house? Humour me, entertain my imagination and allow me for filling in the gaps, take my hand, we could go somewhere."
