JGrrey Is Trying To Be A Glass "Half Full" Kind Of Person In The Wake Of Heartbreak

JGrrey has shown us the maturity and growth in her art as she continues to go from strength to strength in "Half Full". Following a successful 2019, in which she dropped two projects, the singer-songwriter has dropped the visuals for the Ugh EP highlight.

Known for her soft and captivating vocals, JGrrey discusses her relationship issues on the song, using her honest and relaxed approach to R&B-soul. The South London-born artist's soothing melodies are effortless here as she floats over Cadenza's calming, dreamy production.

The colourful visuals for "Half Full", directed by Remi Laudat, depict JGrrey in various settings accompanied by abstract effects to reflect both the complexity of her relationship and the slow-and-low tempo of the track. Her charismatic and carefree nature is prominent throughout, and the fact that she's so comfortable displaying her vulnerability to the listener allows her fanbase to relate to her on a deeper level as they gain an insight into her personal life.
