JGrrey Is "Better Off" On Jarreau Vandal And Ed Thomas-Produced New Single

July 04, 2019

It hasn't been long since JGrrey dropped her debut EP Grrey Daze and, after performing on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury, she's back with a Jarreau Vandal and Ed Thomas-produced single "Better Off". The track is a light, soulful bop that lets her vocals take the limelight and sees her take her lane backed by live jazz instrumentation that compliments her voice without overpowering it.

Speaking about the track, she said: "'Better Off' is about realising you don't actually need to person you've been investing all your energy into. It's that sudden 'I'm so much better than this' epiphany you have after wasting your time on someone. It's a song about keeping it pushing".
