Last month, Jelani Blackman teamed up with Essie Gang's L3 for party-ready cut "Foolish", and now he's back to rejig the track, calling on Nottingham-raised rapper Lavida Loca for a high-octane remix.

Much like the original track, the new version offers high-spirited lyricism and zesty swagger from both. Lavida Loca's sleek delivery contrasts sharply against Jelani Blackman's trademark baritone voice and her uncompromising bars add a spicy new dimension to the beefy, bass-heavy production from Jacob Manson.

"'Foolish' is me talking to myself the morning after a night out with a smile on my face and some memories that I might want to forget," says Jelani. "I would always do it all again because I think everyone should live life fully and make mistakes... Mistakes can lead you to the best times."
