All week, J Hus and Popcaan have been teasing us across social media with tantalising clips of their new collaboration. Well, today is finally the day.

The perfect fusion of J Hus' Afro-influenced rap style and Popcaan's fluid dancehall toasting, this "Bouff Daddy" remix is everything we could have hoped for. The remix comes courtesy of Mixpak boss Dre Skull (whom you'll remember from his colossal victory at Red Bull Culture Clash) and gives the track a well-suited dancehall makeover.

It's been a big year for all three, but J Hus in particular his seen has star ascend to unseen levels with a critically-acclaimed debut album, legions of fans and international cosigns at his feet. 

It may be too late to become a Carnival classic, but would a J Hus and Popcaan Christmas number 1 be too much to ask?
