It seems that every summer, Idris Elba will pop out with a hit song made to ignite festivals and dancefloors everywhere. This summer's edition is "We Run The Area", a collaboration with legendary DJ/producer Toddla T, reggae artist Naomi Cowan and the one and only Junglist Supreme, General Levy.

"We Run The Area" blends the UK and Caribbean flavours in more ways than one. The riddim opens as a dub reggae track before the bassline and drums arrive, bringing in the drum and bass influence. Clearly right at home in the dancehall, jungle and D&B vibe both Idris and Levy exchange bars before handing the mic over to Naomi for her verse, all while under the watchful eye of Teezy who jumps out for a quick skank at the end.
