Afro-Cuban duo Ibeyi have dropped the final teaser to their newest album Spell 31 with the track "Rise Above". This time they've connected with Romford-raised artist Berwyn to deliver a surprise reinterpretation of Black Flag's caustic anthem of rebellion.

"Rise Above" condemns the oppression inflicted on different communities within society while also calling for us to transcend the suffering through unity. Richard Russell arranges the production that surges with pulsating percussions and chant-like backing vocals that echo the phrase "rise above". Berwyn once again seizes our attention with his straight-to-the-point spitting style, touching on the tyranny we've all witnessed over the past few years and condemning the unjust systems that perpetuate it.

Spell 31 is expected to arrive May 6 which is just a few short days away.
