At the top of the year, IAMDDB released the Swervvvvv.5 EP, concluding a five-part series of releases that started back in 2016. Now, just in time for Halloween, the Manchester singer is back to bring out her bad side with new cut "Night Kapp".

Produced by Haks & Trakstrs, "Night Kapp" sees her fluid vocals backed by a smoky, minimalist R&B instrumental popping with futuristic flourishes. Though it's still a continuation of the jazz-meets-trap-meets-R&B sound we know and love, there's a feeling that this is the beginning of a new chapter for Diana De Brito.

In her own words, the famed mischief-maker described the track as "a reminder it's ok to be an emotional baddie. Sometimes you need a dash of chaos to keep the fire burning."
