Chanté Joseph Launches New Channel 4 Series 'How Not To Be Racist'

June 15, 2020

Writer, journalist, broadcaster, multi-hyphenate, Chanté Joseph has just launched a new online show via Channel 4 called How Not To Be Racist. The series is split into three episodes, each of which will be broadcast via Channel 4's YouTube channel and social media accounts.

Commissioned as part of the True Stories documentary strand, the new show takes a light-hearted but all-too-essential look at racism and the micro-aggressions regularly seen on social media from so-called 'well-meaning' white people.

Each episode breaks down a series of misconceptions she's found on Twitter and explains the cultural, sociological and historic context of each one while sharing some of her own personal experiences and hearing from members of the public.

Episode one, titled "Are Black People Cooler Than White People?", is out now. Watch it below and look out for new episodes dropping throughout this week.
