From 2017 onwards, Fredo was on a bonkers run. Get Rich Or Get Recalled and "They Ain't 100" set it all off and it's been all go since then, leading up to two full-length projects last year.

In 2019, he was gearing up for the release of Third Avenue. The previous year saw him release two of the biggest hits of his career—Stay Flee Get Lizzy joint "Ay Caramba" with Young T & Bugsey and "Funky Friday" with Dave—so the pressure was on.

Ultimately, we got a rock-solid project. It didn't have any chart-conquering hits, but it wasn't a dud by any stretch. And it did give us this stunning freestyle recorded during the promo run.

Basically, it's everything you want from Fredo: nonchalant realism, unblinking tales of brutal street life, and a rhymer who can skip across light-hearted melodies and sub-zero road rap without breaking a sweat.
