HERITAGE: West London's Digga D Is Unstoppable In This Classic Fire In The Booth (2019)

June 01, 2021

The last couple of years have been bonkers for Ladbroke Grove driller Digga D, and much of his success can be traced back to 2019 when he released his debut mixtape, Double Tap Diaries. Although he'd been dropping heaters for a few years by this point, it was this mixtape that really put him on the map as a star. Even Zac Efron was bumping "No Diet" that year.

Here's Digga, the day after the tape's release, tearing up Charlie Sloth's studio with a quick 10-minute session crammed with video game references and whipsmart wordplay. Made In The Pyrex was a monumental moment for sure (especially given the legal troubles that threatened to derail it all), but Double Tap Diaries was the moment the rest of the world sat up and took notice.
