HERITAGE: This Iconic Moment With Koop From 'Human Traffic' Will Go Down In History (1999)

"He's the best of best mates. He's a craftsman... He's the coolest person I know."

If you're of a certain age, Human Traffic probably played a massive, invaluable role in your education as a raver. Of course the film stands up purely as a coming of age story about a group of mates, but for fans of hip-hop or any form of dance music in the UK, it was downright essential.

Here's Shaun Parkes as Koop, best friend to John Simm's protagonist, introducing a customer to the The Itchy Trigger Finger Ni**as' "My Last Request" before sharing some gnarled, teeth-crunching jungle.

If, somehow, you've never seen Human Traffic, please don't watch the dated fashion. Yes, it's very much of it's time but it remains one of Danny Dyer's best roles and best films. And, more than anything, it's packed with some forgotten gems from raves gone by.
