HERITAGE: The Original Sugababes Bring Their Early Hit "Overload" To Life In This Acoustic Performance (2001)

When the original line-up of Sugababes—Mutya, Keisha, and Siobhan—reunited, it was a pop fan's dream. Though they initially had to go with the name MKS, they eventually regained the rights to the Sugababes name in 2019.

They've had a pretty great few years since, teaming up with DJ Spoony for Garage Classical, playing a bunch of festivals and releasing The Lost Tapes last year (not to mention stealing the show when they performed at the BRITS).

This year's proved just as fruitful for the trio who are set to headline their own Boiler Room show (August 3 with Arthi, Lagoon Femshayma B2B Lil C, and Zaleel) and they've had their stone-cold anthem "Overload" remixed by hit-making producer Ceebeaats for the stellar Champion soundtrack.

Here they are on the Panel Australia back in 2000, performing a downright stunning acoustic version of "Overload" with nothing but an acoustic guitar, some bongos, and those stunning vocal harmonies.
