Bermondsey-born singer Greentea Peng had a killer rise to the top. From lowkey performances that made her a favourite in the underground to performing on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, it's been an almost vertical incline. That well-earned success comes down to the intoxicating cocktail of neo-soul, blues and psychedelia she poured into here debut project, Man-Made.

Much of the album came from years of writing and ruminating on ideas, but one track in particular had its roots in an early stage in her career, "Kali V2". The newer version was a clear highlight on the album, but this early version, noticeably recorded before the murder of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests that would inform V2, was a potent sign that Greentea Peng had a lot to ay.
