HERITAGE: Snap Capone Doesn't Hold Back As He Builds His Legacy In This Classic Freestyle (2014)

July 09, 2021

Snap Capone has been building his formidable career for roughly a decade, banging out some of the rap scene's most highly respected projects. Unsurprisingly, he's also grown to be one of the most in-demand featured artists—with a long line of rappers queuing up for a guest verse—and a sought-after freestyler whose Fire In The Booth and Westwood Crib Session stand as two of UK rap's finest.

Here he is back in 2014, not long after his revered Return Of The Shooter tape had dropped. That tape has since grown to become one of the most influential ever released in the scene and given his penmanship, it's easy to see why. Tearing through productions from Whisper and AraabMuzik, his lyrics aren't for the faint-hearted, but you can't deny his storytelling instincts are up there with the best of them.
