Regardless of what certain corners of Twitter might say, UK R&B is in fantastic health, pushed forward by some truly incredible singers, songwriters, and producers. It's also making a noise across the pond; Jorja, for example, was invited to perform the track for NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series and back in 2017 Miguel showed his admiration for the song when he covered it for 1Xtra's Live Lounge.

Putting his own spin on things, he strips the arrangement right back to begin with, opting for distorted guitars instead, but from there he gradually builds it up to a raw and fiery crescendo. It's pretty different from Jorja's much softer style, but we still can't help wonder what they might sound like together.
