HERITAGE: Singer Angel Strips Back His Hit "Ride Out" To Show Why He's One Of The Best In The UK (2011)

November 12, 2018

For today's Heritage we're going way back to 2011 for a clip of a young Angel singing an acoustic version of one of his early fan favourites, "Ride Out". The track would go on to appear on his 2012 EP, Go In, Go Hard, supplemented by a guest verse from Sneakbo.

Though Sneakbo is absent from this version, so too is the big pop production, leaving nothing but Angel and his voice. It's clear from this performance why people latched on to his music so quickly; some of his earliest releases, for example, feature the likes of Wiley, Giggs and Wretch 32. It's also another reminder of why he's still enjoying so much success today.
