From 2005 to 2009, Channel 4's Dubplate Drama was essential viewing for grime and rap fans. Way ahead of its time, the show gave viewers the chance to decide what happened in the next episode by a vote at the end of each episode, years before Black Mirror Bandersnatch.

The show centred around Shystie as Dionne, an aspiring grime MC trying to get a record deal and make some money for her family. In the first episode, below, Dionne takes an opportunity to get on the mic at pirate radio station Prang FM, but ultimately finds herself caught in the middle of a war between Prang and its rival station.
