As far back as 2011, before drill was even a thing, RV was already carving out a formidable reputation in the rap scene. Still Young RV at this point, the Tottenham rapper had already put in some serious work and it was becoming clear he had a natural instinct for hooks.

Adding his own twist to Max B's "We Wavy" (with French Montana, Dame Grease, Meeno and E-Snapps), this 2011 drop remains one of his more introspective releases. Like the Tottenham cypher he did with Headie One and others the following year, it's dramatically different from his current output, but already you can see him working out the blueprint for what was to come.
