HERITAGE: Morrisson Gives Us Nothing But Realness In This Link Up TV 'Behind Barz' Freestyle (2012)

The last couple of years have seen Newham rapper Morrisson stack hit after hit. 2018's "Buckingham Palace" proved an instant street favourite, but that was nothing compared to "Shots" and its subsequent remix with Bandokay, Double Lz, Burner, V9 and Snap Capone — the latter standing as one of the biggest rap-drill crossovers to date.

For long-standing fans of Morrission, however, those wins were all but inevitable. Here he is way back in 2012, proving his mettle over the instrumentals from Lloyd Banks's "Warrior Part 2" and Rick Ross's "I'm A Boss". With such a steady, sure-footed flow and no shortage of real-life inspiration, it's no wonder Morrisson has secured his place in UK rap history.
