HERITAGE: Loyle Carner Performs "Tierney Terrace" At Stig Of The Dump's 'Kubrick' Album Launch (2015)

September 21, 2018

Back in 2015, to celebrate the release of his Kubrick album, Geordie rapper Stig Of The Dump took over historic record shop Deal Real along with Sonny Jim, Micall Parknsun (who features on Kubrick alongside Confucius MC, Mr. Thing, Jehst and Rag'n'Bone Man), and Loyle Carner.

Captured by the Blatantly Blunt crew, the whole thing is obviously worth your time but we thought Carner's performance of "Tierney Terrace" stole the show. It shouldn't surprise anyone though; just a year earlier he played his first live show in support of MF Doom in Dublin.

Even without the smokey, bluesy instrumentation of "Tierney Terrace", it's easy to see why the early hit has remained such a fan favourite.
