Back in 2011, Lioness dropped her critically acclaimed RoarNess mixtape, 11 tracks of rap, grime with a bit of a ravey edge to it. Taking the project on tour, she ended up stopping off to do a set at I Luv Live set at Cargo, Shoreditch along the way.

The highlight of her performance starts at the 4:35 mark when she blows the crowd away with a stunning live performance of probably the best tune on the album, "AllBlackWinterNess". Barely pausing for breath, she flawlessly fires out the breakneck speed rhymes over the lurching, bassy instrumental.

Besides being a banger, "AllBlackWinterness" was Lioness hitting back at people lazily comparing her to each and every young woman that starts MCing, firmly showcasing the power of her pen and forever marking her out as a peerless lyricist.

It's also worth watching part 2 of her set, particularly the end where she ends with a powerful a capella freestyle about teen pregnancy.
