It's hard to really explain how electric the hype was around Stormzy when he first started bubbling up. He was the perfect grime/rap crossover artist arriving just as the former was beginning to give way to the latter.

When Stormz released his first mixtape, Dreamer's Disease, "Wicked Skengman 4", "Shut Up" and "Not That Deep" were still a way off, and yet, when he launched the tape at a party in Chalk Farm, the place went nuts.

And the same could be said of both Krept & Konan and Section Boyz. The Gypsy Hill duo's "Don't Waste My Time" was a box-fresh anthem and the Boyz were still a year off from their historic show with Drake, but this was such a perfectly timed moment you could see each and every one of their star's just beginning to ascend. Even just a few months later and a show like this, in a venue that size, would've been impossible.
