HERITAGE: Kele Le Roc Delivers A Smooth Rendition Of Her Single "My Love" For CD:UK (1999)

April 05, 2023

We never quite saw enough of Kele Le Roc, but what we did see was pretty incredible.

She first found success in 1995 with the stone-cold classic "Let Me Know" before returning three years later with the lead single from her one and only album, Everybody's Somebody, and her first top 10 hit, "Little Bit Of Lovin". However, it was the album's second single, "My Love", that proved her crowning glory.

That track earned her a MOBO for Best Single in 1999 (she also won Best Newcomer the same year) and became one of the biggest songs of the year. It would also be revamped in the garage scene thanks to 10º Below. Still, the original will always hold a special place in the heart of UK R&B heads and this performance on CD:UK should tell you exactly why.
