HERITAGE: Kayode Ewumi Brought His Notorious Triple Threat Artist Roll Safe To Life In This Hilarious 'Fire In The Booth' (2015)

The emergence of Roll Safe, aka R.S, in 2015 was so fast it was almost immediate. Within months of uploading his first Vines as the character, Kayode Ewumi's viral creation had outgrown its original format and he created the now legendary Hood Documentary.

By the beginning of the following year the success of the character had gone far beyond anything Ewumi could've predicted (it's now achieved immortality in meme form) and before he officially made the decision to retire the character he made a series with BBC Three.

During the hype he made an unforgettable appearance on Charlie Sloth's Fire In The Booth, delivering bars that have become some of the most heavily-quoted in the history of the series (everyone knows about the infamous "Jonathan from church"), and doing so over something as leftfield as Adele.

It was weird and brilliant in equal measure. Everyone knows someone as tragic and deluded as R.S, even if they're not decked out in shirtless, '80s-era Eddie Murphy attire.
