HERITAGE: Kanye West, Skepta, Big Sean, Novelist & Jme Collide At This Historic London Show (2015)

Another gem from the mid-2010s when grime was flying high and all eyes were on the UK. Back then, when anticipation for Konichiwa and Life Of Pablo was reaching fever pitch, we were getting all sorts of transatlantic team-ups.

Everyone remembers Kanye's performance at the BRITs, but in a lot of ways, this smaller live show he did with Big Sean, Novelist, and BBK was just as iconic. With people like Mo Gilligan and P Money watching intently from the crowd, Kanye, Skepta, and Big Sean each performed some of their biggest hits—"That's Not Me", "I Don't Fuck With You", "Shutdown", "It Ain't Safe", and of course "All Day"—all running side-by-side.

Taking it to Skepta's home turf and putting some of his (at the time) new and relatively untested tracks against the big grime tunes of the moment almost felt like a soundclash—albeit without the usual competitive tension.
