Snoochie Shy's Bleep Test freestyle series remains to this day one of the most inspired formats. We've already held up Kamakaze's entry as one of the best of the series, but this one from Mez is at least as good (if not slightly better).

Flanked by Grandmixxer, Mez makes light work of the format, barely breaking a sweat. If anything, it's the beats that struggle to keep up with his dizzying, tongue-twister flow. Starting slow and steady with some 2000s-era crunk courtesy of Lil John and Ying Yang Twins, Snoochie gradually escalates the tempos, moving through drill courtesy of Swavy Beats and then a chunky, thundering grime riddim from Filthy Gears.

By the end of it, it's as if he's just getting warmed up, hungrily tearing apart the last jungle tune with a burning hunger in his eyes... Snoochie really needs to revive this format.
