HERITAGE: Fredo Tells The Story Of Finding Out About The Success Of His Street Anthem "They Ain't 100" (2017)

December 20, 2018

For today's Heritage, we're not going too far back into history. Filmed by Nathan Miller, the LDN doc looks at some of the central figures in the overlapping worlds of UK rap and drill.

While this is only a year or so old it's got loads of golden footage that will go down in history including Fredo, Elf Kid, Semtex, Morgan Keyz, Posty, 67, Nyge, J Hus, Kojey Radical, Vicky Grout, Belly Squad, SNE, Jevon, Reeko Squeeze, Kenny Allstar, Youngs Teflon, Ratlin and Reekz MB.

A mixture of live footage and interviews, for now we're focusing on this segment at the 20 minute mark where they chat to Fredo. This is, of course, pre-"Funky Friday" and pre-"Change" as he reflects on the success of early hit "They Ain't 100". As he talks about performing at Wireless, hearing his song on the radio and being approached by fans, you can't help but wonder what he thinks of his current success.
