15 years ago, a young, fresh-faced singer-songwriter called Ed Sheeran tried his luck on Britannia High, a boot camp-style talent show that ran on TV at the peak of the talent show wave.

Also in the running were musician-turned-actor Bluey Robinson and Pixie Lott. Although the panel of judges weren't unanimously impressed with the three, they did see something. Of course, it's worth pointing out they were all kids at the time so even though Arlene Phillips said Ed "hasn't a clue what he's doing... but he's trying," his next stop would be a stint on Jamie Foxx's sofa before releasing his debut album just four years later.

Ed's dancing was hopeless, though.
