Channel U's legacy is something we'll probably never stop telling you about; it's contributions to the culture are unthinkably massive and so many of our current A-listers either got their big break on the channel or were inspired by those who did.

Two of the channel's biggest stars were Ace & Vis who hosted The Ill Out Show (which even scooped a Sony Radio Academy Award). An unmissable show, it was one of the first places you could catch pirate radio-style sessions on TV.

There are countless sets worth checking out, but this one with DJ Cameo and Shizzle, Doctor, Napper, and Bearman is up there with the best of them, not least because all five of them embody that whole era so perfectly.
