HERITAGE: Dizzee And Wiley Take On Durrty Goodz And Crazy Titch In Truly Legendary Clash At One Of The First Ever Eskimo Dances (2002)

July 30, 2018

At the end of August, Eskimo Dance makes its return to Hideout Nightclub (formerly Area) in Watford for a special homecoming event, and to celebrate we've gone deep into the archives for footage of one of the very first Eskimo Dances, ever.

Back in 2002, the political landscape of grime was a little different. Dizzee and Wiley were still friends and Crazy Titch was still a formidable presence in the scene. The camera angles might not be the absolute best in this one, but we have managed to dig out this clip of Dizzee and Wiley taking on Crazy Titch and Durrty Goodz in a clash that couldn't be recreated, even if everyone involved wanted to — and we're reasonably confident they don't.
