In 2018 Mowgs, formerly Mowgli, seemed to emerge from Birmingham a fully formed rapper with a stack of singles and plenty to say. Tracks like "Everything's Nice" with 23 Unofficial planted his flag in the rap scene and less than a year later he was ready with his debut album, Roll The Dice, collecting together some of the previous year's singles alongside a fresh batch to show off what was proving to be a startling amount of talent.

Here he is, at the tale end of 2019, stepping up for Tiffany Calver to celebrate his second successful year in a row with some sharp-witted rhymes and wry tales of street life. Let's hope 2021 is another prosperous one for Mowgz.
