Trilla Jermaine Trilloskiiiii!

A true blue veteran of Birmingham's ever-thriving bassline scene, Trilla's name, voice and call sign are some of the most widely recognised in the UK underground. Over the years he's laced bangers for Burga Boy, TRC, DJ Q and since the mid-2010s has been collaborating with local legends Hybrid Theory aka James Crone, Paul Lawrence & John Walsh.

For today's Heritage though we're going all the way back to 2009 when he was invited on to Tim Westwood's show for a freestyle. Flanked by his old friend DJ Apostle — the man he credits with introducing him to bassline in the first place — Trilla launches headlong into it, slaughtering instrumentals from TRC, Subzero and more with some of his most infamous "Etap" and "Who Are Ya?!" bars.
