HERITAGE: Big Narstie Delivers 100 Bars Of Straight Pain In This Classic Freestyle For SBTV (2012)

Thanks to The Big Narstie Show and even the Uncle Pain series and all the content he made with Lordie for Grime Report, Big Narstie is officially a household name. He's earned every bit of that success, but away from all that, it's always worth remembering just how phenomenally talented he is on the mic.

Don't get us wrong, no one starts a moshpit quite like Narstie, but freestyles like this one deserve to pride of place in the history books. Over a beat from Xaviour, Narstie details the realities of street life, pays tribute to the friends he's lost over the years, and he does it all with complex rhyme schemes, layered wordplay and a thoughtfulness few others possess.

Sure, he's funny, but he's also one of the greatest writers and freestylers grime ever saw.
