HERITAGE: 2Nice (RIP) Shells Down With Aftershock Family Members Triple Threat, Badness And Bruza (2007)

February 06, 2019

This week news emerged of the tragic passing of Aftershock crew member 2Nice. A central figure in the Aftershock family, 2Nice and the rest were a lively presence at pirate radio sessions and raves in the early to mid 2000s. Before that even, 2Nice helped to form garage collective The Untouchables. Since then his style, which always had more of a ragga influence to it, has lent itself well to a seamless transition into reggae, dub and dancehall events, sharing the stage with the likes of Congo Natty and Cotti.

Here he is back in 2007 with Badness, Triple Threat and Bruza shelling down for the Firin' Squad Unsigned Podcast. The show featured interviews and performances from the rest of the expanded Aftershock family including Terror Danjah, Gemma Fox, Elrae and Youf.

Rest in peace, 2Nice.
