Headie One And Stormzy Get Reflective On New Drop "Cry No More"

Headie One And Stormzy Get Reflective On New Drop "Cry No More"

April 19, 2024

Headie One is back in full effect. Last week, he announced his next album, The Last One, by releasing a cinematic trailer, and this week he's given us the project's first single. "Cry No More" is a titanic link-up, with Headie calling on Stormzy to deliver a box office verse on his feature.

Co-produced by American beatsmiths Tay Keith, Tommy Parker and Pooh Beatz, both Headie and Stormzy glide on the melodic drill backdrop with ease. Headie's delivery is solemn, much like the clipped sample that features in the instrumental, yet both he and Stormz talk on how far they've come since their humble beginnings.

While we wait for more info on Headie's second studio album, which is set to drop some time in July on Columbia Records, press play on the "Cry No More" video below.
