East London's Guvna B has been readying himself to drop his album, The Village Is On Fire, for some time, and now the day of release has finally arrived.

Guvna has never been one to skimp on substance or shy away from difficult topics and as such, the new project draws inspiration from the traumatic racist attack that he suffered some time ago (the project's cover art is even a picture of the artist, taken after the incident). With 12 songs that feature Ghetts, DarkoVibes, Kierra Shard, Kae Kurd, and Michaela Coel, the project is food for thought and food for the soul, aimed at provoking change and preventing attitudes of indifference.

Alongside the album, Guvna B has released the video for "U Get Me" where he's joined by fellow Ghetts, who adds his perspective on the song's theme of youth violence and its causes. The Kevin Hudson-directed video gives visual treatment to the two MCs and their experiences growing up in an environment where trouble could arrive without you seeking it.
