Grime Report TV Has Been Taken Down By YouTube (But Hopefully Not For Long)

July 31, 2019

A much-loved and important part of the grime scene has been temporarily (we hope) put out of action as popular YouTube channel Grime Report has been deleted from the platform.

Reasons for its deletion are scarce at present, with words like "technicality" being thrown around. However, the YouTube channel made its name for its creative and authentic documentation of the culture through popular shows such as Five Pound Munch and Big Narstie's Uncle Pain series, to name a few

Speaking about the situation, Grime Report TV's founder Lordie took to Twitter to say, "Nothing but love and the utmost respect to you guys for all your support and encouragement. It's all a bit nuts right now but I'm trying my best to get this rectified with YouTube and hopefully move forward. Thank you all."

A petition has since been launched in an attempt to get the channel re-instated, which you can sign here.
