Grime Aid Returns For Fifth Year To Aid African Refugee Crisis

February 13, 2019

Set up by Ra'ed Khan, the charity Road To Freedom has teamed up with GRM Daily for the fifth edition of Grime Aid. Aiming to raise money for refugees fleeing war-torn countries, providing immediate aid — including food, clothing and hygiene kits — the event will see 100% of proceeds go to those affected by the Sub-Saharan African refugee crisis.

Previous years have seen the likes of Chip, Jammer and WSTRN on the line-up, however this year fans will be treated to D Double E, Flirta D, Big Zuu, Manga, Big Tobz, Miraa May, Logan Sama and "special guests", with Poet returning to host the show. Last year's event with Noisey enabled the team to feed 200 families in Somalia for over a month, and previous editions have helped raise thousands of pounds to assist refugees all over the world.

Taking place on February 20 at the Miranda, Ace Hotel, tickets are available to buy here.
