Ghetts Provides Food For Thought In "Black Rose" The First Single From 'Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament'

August 30, 2018

It's been over ten years since Ghetts blessed us with what has become his magnum opus in Ghetto Gospel, but after releasing a trailer and pre-order link last night, he has now dropped the first single from its forthcoming sequel Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament entitled "Black Rose" featuring Kojey Radical.

Described by the featured artist as "a letter from us to you... our black women that we forget to love as often as they love us", the track sees the veteran MC provide thought-provoking lyrics about fatherhood, how the black community and society as a whole treat black women, with touching scenes and moving sentiments throughout. If this single is anything to go by then we may have another classic on our hands when the full project is released on Sept. 14.

Until then, watch the video for the new single below.
