23-year-old Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is under fire from tabloids after allegedly angering his neighbours by playing "X-rated drill rap" at an "inconsiderate and disturbing" volume at his luxury, £1.8 million home in Surrey.

Several of the football star's neighbours have reported the home to the local council for allegedly playing loud music and have even voiced their thoughts to the tabloids.

One resident claimed they had to "scream over the fence to get the volume turned down".

Another local resident stated in a letter sent to the council about the "deafening drill rap from big speakers on the decking", that "the lyrics are quite offensive" and that it makes them feel as if they are "in a ghetto and not leafy Cobham".

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has yet to respond to the public allegations made against him. The footballer is hoped to return to the pitch in November after recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon.
