Flohio Takes To The Streets Under Cover Of Darkness In "Glamourised" Visuals

July 29, 2020

Bermondsey rapper Flohio is back with her new single, "Glamourised", and some eerie, late night visuals to go with it. The track had originally been scheduled to drop earlier in the year, but was postponed in light of everything going on in the world.

The production from her old friend and frequent collaborator HLMNSRA does wonders here, bringing her fiery personality to the forefront as she brings her individual finesse to the beat and skips nimbly between the drums.

In Ethan Barrett and Tom Gullam's visuals, we see Flo creep through the eerie streets under cover of darkness, shot with a night vision effect that puts the focus squarely on her and her rhymes.

Explaining the meaning of the track, the South Londoner took to Instagram to say: "This song is called 'Glamourised'. Most of these things in our possession were glamourised at one point; we are all getting force-fed. How nice of them."

In a subsequent post, she also said: "This is my last release for now. I will see everyone in September," adding, "I've had enough."
