Since the arrival of their debut anthem "Cardboard Box", FLO have held our attention with their electrifying R&B sounds and slick lyricism. Giving us an extended peek into their world, they've now delivered their five-track debut EP The Lead.

Producers Jamal Woon, MNEK, Joe Gosling, and RELYT all chip in to build FLO's sonic world, stirring new age influences with old school R&B textures, reminiscent of the 2000s era. Each song is rammed with cascading harmonies and empowering lyrics all about moving on from relationships that no longer serve us. Every track is a bop and arrives just in time for our sunny days.

Speaking on the project, FLO said, "Our debut EP The Lead represents personal and professional growth because it's taken so many twists and turns. We are young black women navigating life and musicians finding our voice and sound through R&B. Pop means popular, and R&B could be pop, but people need to give it the same love and chance.

"The Lead shows us that positive things can come from tough conversations, and reminds us to take the lead and not follow anyone else when making decisions on your relationships and listening to your truth."
