Fizzler Taps Heavytrackerz For Bumpy New Rap Cut "The Drop"

August 17, 2020

Though most often associated with drill, South London's Fizzler rarely sticks to any strict definition of the sound. Recent singles have seen him blur the lines between rap and drill — even incorporating garage on February's "Minimum Wage" — and that continues with his latest single, "The Drop".

Teaming up with seasoned hitmakers Heavytrackerz, this new one sees him apply his ever-evolving flow to a bumpy instrumental that owes as much to rap and trap as it does the drill hallmarks he cut his teeth on.

Never one to lack in the visuals department, Fizzler's called on director Tyson 'Triller' Jones to soak him and his teem in deep red lighting with added scenes of a ballied-up Fizzler calling the shots from an undisclosed location before making his getaway in the back of a speeding car.
