After making an explosive debut in 2019 with tongue-twisting grime cut "Bop Through Ya Manor", Northampton's FFSYTHO maintained the hype with a string of bangers through 2020, but now she's back with something a little different.

Teaming up with Exeter producer Jabru, her new single "Ask About Me" explores a more rap-oriented sound. Jabru's remix pits her almost stream-of-consciousness delivery against an instrumental that's at times jazzy, at others soothingly melodic, stirring in moments of her own vocal harmonising.

It's an inspired creation that's brought a whole new side out of both producer and MC. Whatever the future holds for them — and we hope there's more where this came from — it's clear we're to expect the unexpected.
